America's group of super rich men only got even richer in 2015 as new list reveals one CEO made a whopping $29.5 billion this year alone

As 2015 draws to an end, one group of super rich men had their biggest year yet.

Several American billionaires made Forbes' list as the biggest dollar gainers and percentage gainers in 2015 thanks to increasing stocks and valuations of private companies raising funds. 

At the top of the list is Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos, who ranks among both top dollar and percentage gainers. 

Bezos, who offered to send Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump into space, made a whopping $29.5 billion from January 1 to December 4 of this year.

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg  gained $11.2 billion this year

His net worth is a total of $58.4 billion, making him the fourth-richest person in the world. In March he ranked number 15 on that list.

The runner-up behind Bezos is none other than Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg. 

The first-time father gained $11.2 billion within this year and his net worth is $45.6 billion. 

Following the birth of his daughter, Maxima, with wife Priscilla Chan, the couple revealed that they plan on donating 99 percent of their wealth to worthy causes. 

CEO of Google's parent company, Alphabet Inc., Larry Page, gained $9.2 billion this year and his net worth is $38.4 billion. 

Page's fellow co-founder of Google, Sergey Brin, is next on the list with a gain of $8.9 billion this year. Brin's net worth is also slightly behind Page's at an estimated $37.6 billion.

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg gained $5.5 billion in 2015 as CEO of Bloomberg LP. 

Bloomberg returned earlier in 2015 as the CEO, where he made a number of changes at Bloomberg News. 

While serving three terms as mayor of New York City, he held the title as America's richest mayor.

In addition to naming the biggest dollar gainers, Forbes also named the biggest percentage gainers of 2015.

Kieu Hoang of Shanghai RAAS Blood Products is at the top of the list for his company that supplies albumin, immunoglobulin and other blood-derived products. His percentage increase is 196 percent and his net worth is $3.6 billion.

Next are the trio of Airbnb founders Brian Chesky, Joe Gebbia and Nathan Blecharczyk.

They gained 120 percent this year as their company continues to grow in popularity around the world.

Following up behind them is Bezos, who gained 102 percent leading Amazon. 

Last on the list of percentage gainers is Uber CEO Travis Kalanick, who gained 100 percent this year. 

Kalanick, who has a $6 billion net worth, recently told Fortune that drivers who work for the company work too little to be considered full-time employees.
