He’s behind you! Hilarious moment woman gets a LOT of frights when hungry giraffes invade bus in search of food
- Danish woman holds a tub of carrots the giraffes are eager to munch on
- She laughs hysterically as she cowers away from their long necks
When you visit a safari park the most you can often expect is animals nonchalantly passing by the outside of your bus.
But one group of Danish people had the close-up encounter of a lifetime after a group of hungry giraffes poked their heads right through the windows into the vehicle.
The curious giraffes were determined to get their hooves on the whole tub of carrots offered by one woman as they press their long necks into the truck at the Aloha Safari Park in North Carolina.
What do we have here? One group of Danish people had the close-up encounter of a lifetime after a group of hungry giraffes poked their heads right through the windows into the vehicle
Oh hello: The curious giraffes were determined to get their hooves on the whole tub of carrots offered by one woman as they press their long necks into the truck at the Aloha Safari Park in North Carolina
The occasion offered the most fantastic intimate footage of the friendly animals as they explore the car.
But the woman isn't quite so thrilled with the invasion of personal space.
She yells as two giraffes approach her from both sides, laughing with fright as she cowers.
Eventually she places the food away from her in the hopes of distracting them. They duly tuck in but that doesn't stop them inquisitively peering around the bus.
Other men can be seen filming the giraffes as they slowly retreat out of the window and the lady escapes back to the apparent safety of the back of the vehicle.
But one exceptionally amicable animal just can't seem to leave her alone though and once again pokes it's neck in, curving it round to face her.
Panic! But the woman isn't quite so thrilled with the invasion of personal space
Get away from me! She yells as two giraffes approach her from both sides, laughing with fright as she cowers
Fortunately she continues to see the funny side of the situation and laughs hysterically, her head in her hands.
The Aloha Safari Park was founded by Lee Crutchfield whose aim is rescue animals in need.
The 60-acre zoo currently holds about 400 animals of various species, most of which are exotic, including Bengal tigers, capybaras, kangaroos, baboons, emus and skunks.
Many of the creatures have been previously injured, abandoned, abused, neglected, or were unable to be cared for by their previous owners. Three area veterinarians aid the zoo with medical care and health certificate exams.
