Teddy's owner Kara Scobie says all her friends and family tell her Teddy is a dead ringer for Albert Einstein, right
And Ms Scobie said as soon as she showed her off to family and friends, they all remarked on her likeness to the famous scientist.
But despite looking like one of the greatest brains in physics, her owner says that Teddy is often quite dozy.
Ms Scobie, 26, said: 'Family and friends mentioned Teddy’s likeness to Einstein when I first brought her home at the age of nine weeks.
'With her big moustache and curly whiskers she looked like a little mad scientist.
'But it didn’t take us long to realise that despite her brainy looks, Teddy is actually quite silly.

Teddy now also has her own Instagram account with 700 followers who like to keep up with her day-to-day life
'She’s always misjudging long jumps and getting herself stuck in tight spaces.
'She’s so entertaining to watch.'
Ms Scobie, a civil servant, spotted an advert for Teddy online shortly after reserving a different Persian kitten, Nala, now aged 11 months, from a breeder.
She added: 'I’d already chosen a kitten named Nala when I spotted the photograph of Teddy with her tiny moustache.
'I quickly showed my mum who encouraged me to get both.
'I was so in love with Teddy’s unique markings that I couldn’t help myself.
Ms Scobie said she had to take home Teddy after seeing her due to her unusual face markings and fur
'Now, Nala and Teddy are the best of friends and they’re never apart.'
After making an Instagram account to show off Teddy’s moustache, Ms Scobie was surprised when the adorable pictures attracted 700 followers in four mouths.
She explained: 'All of my friends were saying how cute and unique Teddy is, so I decided to make an Instagram account for them to follow to see her pictures.
'I was amazed to see that in just four months Teddy gained over 700 followers.
'Everyone comments on her funny looks and says how much they enjoy seeing the posts. She’s our little star.'
