Cats and dogs are not always known for being the best of friends.

But an adorable video shows that every rule is meant to broken, with a very contented feline enjoying her nap next to two snoozing Golden Retrievers.

The dogs, named Watson and Kiko look more than happy to have Harry the cat next to them in the sweet clip.

The clip opens with Harry lying wide awake next to the slumbering pair of pooches.

But in the next shot, the trio are fast asleep, with Watson and Kiko facing each other.

Harry sleeps contentedly in between them.

The clip then goes on to show Watson, Kiko and Harry sleeping at the foot of their bed, with Kiko adorably stretching his front leg to cuddle Harry.

Next, the cute dogs are seen stretched out on their backs with their paws in the air and Harry nestled between them.

Their adoring owner can't resist giving them a stroke as they enjoy their snooze.

Finally, it shows Watson and Kiko having yet another nap underneath a blanket, aptly marked 'Nap time is better with a dog'.
