Police launch investigation after rampaging bouncer knocks out two revellers in quick succession with single punches to the head during chaotic brawl outside 'student night' at a club

A nightclub bouncer has been filmed knocking two revellers clean out leaving onlookers screaming in shocking scenes as a brawl sprawls out of control
The footage was taken outside Nottingham's Ink nightclub at 2am on New Years Day, where a fight broke out after a student night at the venue.
One man was knocked to the floor three separate times by the powerful blows to his head.

People can be heard screaming in the background as the fight unfolds.
The huge bouncer was part of the fracas outside the nightclub, and can be seen grappling with the first man.
The security guard then punches the man in the head which causes him to fall to the floor, hitting a car on his way down.
He then staggers to his feet to approach the bouncer, only to take another blow which sent him straight to the ground again.

Another partygoer then becomes involved in the violence, and he is sent sprawling on top of the first man, with another devastating blow from the burly bouncer.
Once more, the first man gets to his feet to approach the security guard - and takes one final punch to the head and hits the concrete.
The injured man lies very still on the street, while bystanders rush to help him.
One calls out 'Someone call 999,' as people surround the man lay on the floor.
Makhel Leigertwood-Gibson, 20, of Southgate, London was arrested with two counts of assault by beating. He is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates court later this month.
Police could not confirm or deny that he was the bouncer in the video.
In a statement, Nottinghamshire Police said:
'Nottinghamshire Police were made aware of reports circulating online of an incident in Nottingham city centre, which was reported in some media outlets to have taken place on Thursday 4 January 2018.
'However, following further investigation, officers have established that the footage relates to an incident which officers previously responded to in the early hours of Monday 1 January 2018.
'In respect of this incident, officers arrested three men at the scene soon after the incident was reported to officers just after 2am on Monday 1 January 2018.'
Ink nightclub in Nottingham has been contacted for comment.
