A female high school basketball coach has been accused of sexual misconduct with an underage male student.
Ann Kuroki, 26, was arrested on Friday night in Gooding, Idaho on a charge of felony sexual battery of a child aged 16 to 17 years.
She had been hired in October at the public Gooding High School as a boys junior varsity basketball coach, according to school board meeting minutes.
An agenda for the school board's upcoming Tuesday meeting shows an agenda item for Kuroki's termination.
Gooding Police Chief Dave Fisher told KMTV that the school district terminated Kuroki's employment on Thursday morning.

Gooding is a community of 3,500 about 100 miles southeast of Boise.
Kuroki graduated in 2015 from Southern Virginia University, where she played on the women's varsity basketball team, according to information on her LinkedIn page and the school's website.
She was a captain of the team her senior year, and also played tennis for the private Division III university, which is affiliated with the Mormon church.

Police Chief Fisher said the school district would be conducting an internal investigation in addition to the criminal investigation.
Kuroki is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
The Gooding Senators JV squad is scheduled to play their next and final game of the season on January 17, a non-conference home matchup against the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind.
