Wedding crasher steals 'large quantity of cash' from wishing well at upmarket winery reception

An uninvited wedding guest has stolen $10,000 from a young couple's wishing well after casually walking into the venue, 'chatting to guests', pocketing the cash and walking out.

brazen wedding crasher has committed the ultimate wedding faux pas, stealing money from the bride and groom's wishing well during their winery reception.
An unknown and uninvited man allegedly committed the offence during the wedding at the upmarket Jack Rabbit Winery on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula last Saturday.
After a night of drinks and dancing, he stole a 'large quantity of cash' from the padlocked wishing well in the venue's foyer sometime before 11pm.
Police are hoping to speak to a man in venue CCTV footage in relation to the incident
The reception was held at the upmarket Jack Rabbit Winery on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula
In a post on the Eyewatch - Geelong Police Service Area Facebook page, police appealed for information in relation to the incident.
'Police are keen to speak to (the man in the footage) as he was at the reception and it is believed will hold valuable information in regards to the ongoing investigation,' Geelong Police said in the post.
In the CCTV photos released, the middle-aged man is dressed in typical wedding attire.

Although it is not known if the man in the footage was involved in the theft, police would like to speak to him in relation to the incident
He sported black slacks paired with a white shirt and suspenders, before finishing the outfit off with sunglasses on his head.
Also shown in the footage is a vehicle of interest which was seen in the car park while the offence took place.
Police have also requested information from anyone who knows the owner of a car (pictured) which was seen in the venue's car park at the time of the theft
