Toddler desperately struggles after falling through bars of window from a third-storey flat while being left at home alone

This is the heart-stopping moment a two-year-old child struggles while having the head stuck between an anti-theft grille in southwest China.

Dozens of onlookers stretched their arms and ready to fetch as the toddler kicked the feet back and forth.

The child was sleeping at home alone while the parents went out. The child was rescued after the parents rushed back home in time.

Mobile phone footage emerged showing the two-year-old toddler dangling dangerously at a metal grille on the second floor balcony.

The incident happened in Anyue county, Ziyang city of Sichuan Province on March 6, according to reports.

The young child is swinging the feet and kicking the wall as the onlookers preparing to fetch from ground floor.

It's believed that the child's hands were supporting the body weight to prevent from falling through the gap. 

The clip did not show the rescue but the toddler's parents were said to have rushed back home and freed their child.
