You've heard of a cat burglar? World's most bizarre break-in featuring horse-faced Rastafarian swiping snacks from a fridge is caught on a sauna's CCTV

  • An intruder donning a horse mask broke in to a sauna in Novocherkask, Russia
  • The oddly-dressed burglar makes his way to the fridge and grabs some snacks
  • He then makes his way back up the stairs, through the foyer and leaves the building through the same door he used to enter it

This is the bizarre moment a burglar is caught on camera raiding a sauna complex's fridge for snacks while wearing a horse mask, dreadlocks, and what appears to a Rastafarian hat.

The oddly-dressed intruder was captured on CCTV cameras at a sauna in the city of Novocherkask in south-western Russia's Rostov Oblast region.

The footage begins with the man walking into the building wearing a horse mask, a dreadlocks wig, and a red, gold and green woolly hat.

The uninvited guest, who is also wearing a tartan scarf, long black coat, leather gloves and black boots, cautiously steps across the foyer.

Seeing nobody around, he walks down a flight of steps where he is seen trying door knobs until he spots a refrigerator behind a counter.

Opening the fridge, he throws his hands up in delight at what he sees and stashes some snacks and drinks inside his coat.

As he makes his way back through the building, it looks as if he is putting on a show for the cameras as he steals a fire extinguisher.

The horse-faced intruder then makes his way back up the stairs, through the foyer and leaves the building through the same door he used to enter it.

The footage of the surreal burglary is proving popular with viewers after it was posted on video-sharing platforms.

Netizen 'Sanya' said: 'It weird he was not looking for money and did not took the TV set or computer. Maybe he was hungry or drunk?'

It is not reported if the police are aware of the incident or are looking into the case.
