An inmate's grandmother in Memphis has been arrested for trying to smuggle drugs to him in a bag of Doritos in prison.
Sarah Griffin, 68, was arrested after the visit with her 31-year-old grandson Cody Clements, at the Shelby County Division of Corrections in Memphis, Tennessee, on Saturday afternoon.
According to charging documents, she produced the bag of chips and then pulled something out of it to hand to Clements who is in custody on aggravated burglary charges.
Guards noticed the exchange and confiscated the bag which they later discovered contained 28.5g of methamphetamines, 1.1g of heroin, 11.4g of marijuana and 40 bars of prescription Xanax pills.

When questioned by police, Griffin said she thought she was giving her grandson a cell phone.
The drugs were wrapped up in black tape, according to WREG.
Griffin denied knowingly bringing them in to the prison but she was arrested and taken to the sheriff's office.
It is not clear if she was granted bond or if she remains in custody but police said she faced one contraband charge.
Clements is in custody for aggravated burglary and was sentenced in 2016.
Among other charges on his rap sheet is assault.
Griffin does not have any prior record.
The amount of drugs police found suggest Clements intended to distribute them behind bars.
Details of whether he faced any additional charges were unavailable on Wednesday morning.
Clements is incarcerated at the Shelby County Division of Corrections in Memphis, Tennessee (above) for aggravated burglary
