This is the gruesome moment a deadly redback spider captures and gobbles up a huge huntsman spider.

In the footage, the redback is seen wrapping up a much larger, more placid huntsman in her web.

The Adelaide man who took the video saw a wasp carry the large spider into the garage before becoming captured in a web.

The wasp broke free, but the same could not be said for the huntsman who was collected by the poisonous arachnid and spun until it couldn't move.

He was quick to pick up his camera to film the female redback capture the huntsman spider.

The voice of the spider is dubbed by the man who filmed the encounter in Mount Victoria.

He uses classic Australian jargon such as 'struth' and 'cobber', and refers to the spider as a 'lucky little redback'.

The hairy huntsman attempts to escape from the grips of the redback and is bitten by the venomous spider.

'Sorry I just had to bite him then - he was about to get away but that will instantly kill him i'm like the deadliest spider in the world,' the voice over apologised on behalf of the spider.

'If I ever touch a human they'll die, or they'll lose a limb or some s**t,' the man joked.
