Utah author accused of sexual misconduct claims white 'men feel like Jews in Nazi Germany' because of 'extremist feminist agenda'

A Utah author who has been accused of numerous sexual misconduct allegations, likened the plight of white men in America to 'Jews in Nazi Germany.' 

Richard Paul Evans - author of the Christmas Box and Michael Vey series - made the comparison while sharing his thoughts on the #MeToo agenda on Tuesday.

'There is a war on men, and that men, white men in particular, are under attack, oppressed by a changing culture, victims of an extremist feminist agenda,' he said to KUTV.

'There are books written that say, again that men should be taken out, that they should account for no more than 10% of the population, well that makes men feel like Jews in Nazi Germany.'

Evans was accused of acting inappropriately toward a woman at Salt Lake Comic Con - called FanX - in September 2017. 

Another woman accused him of similar claims in 2013.

In response, the convention announced that the author would not attend the September 6-8 event. 

'I wasn't trying to objectify her, I was trying to lift her up but clearly that came across wrong,' Evans said, admitting to hugging, kissing and telling the woman that she was pretty.

'I think it's a new reality. If it was uncomfortable for her then it was too much, that's the bottom line, I never intended to hurt someone,' 

Evans then referred to himself as a victim and said that there were innocent men who were being blasted by the #MeToo movement. 

'These trends tend to swing too far the other way where innocent men are being caught up in, and we're in a culture where it's a war on men,' he added.

The author started a fraternal organization called Trybe of Kyngs, which is aimed at helping men who are lost. 

'They don't know where they are anymore they don't know where they fit, 'do I open the door for a woman or do I not?'

Evans then went on to claim that racism wasn't as bad as it was in previous generations, almost excusing the plethora of videos that have circulated of racist incidents against minorities to claim that only white men are facing racism. 

He said: 'I'm hoping that society will correct itself in a positive way, there's less racism today then there was, unless it's directed to white males, there's less racism today than there was in our parents generations.'
