Mr Hewitt's son Zachariah John Hewitt (pictured) was charged with a string of offences including deprivation of liberty, grievous bodily harm and armed robbery

His ute was found a short time later, but his custom painted Adela wheels, worth $600 each, haven't been recovered.
Zachariah was charged with deprivation of liberty, grievous bodily harm, armed robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter dwelling with intent, and enter dwelling to commit an indictable offence.
He appeared before the Gladstone Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
