Fears grow for 15-year-old girl after she went missing from her home in Kent

  • Maisie Wheeler is believed to be in the Bognor Regis area in West Sussex
  • The 15-year-old was reported missing from her home in Meopham, Kent   
  • Police have appealed for help finding Maisie, who was last seen on August 8

Police are increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since Saturday.

Maisie Wheeler was reported missing from her home in Meopham in Kent.

The teenager was last seen on August 8 and is believed to be in the Bognor Regis area, or in London.

Officers are appealing for the teenager, or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts, to get in touch.

She also has links to London and police said she may be using public transport to travel around.

Maisie is described as being white with fair skin, 5'5', with dark brown hair tied up where the underneath is slightly shaven.

She has a lip and nose piercing as well as several ear piercings.

The teenager was last seen wearing a vest top that is tied up at the front with light blue jeans with rips in them and white Nike trainers with bright yellow stripes.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: 'Anyone who sees Maisie or who has information on her whereabouts is asked to report online or call 101, quoting serial 1203 of 08/08.'
