Apple, Dell and Amazon were among the winners at this year's Pocket-lint awards.
But it was Samsung that took the most coveted prize of the night winning Gadget of the Year for its Galaxy S6 Edge.
The handset also beat Apple's iPhone 6s to this year's Best Phone title at the tech site's annual awards in Hoxton, East London.

The Gadget of the Year award is a coup for the South Korean firm after its major rival Apple picked up the same award last year for its iPhone 6.
Apple didn't perform poorly at the awards, however. It won the Best Tablet category with its iPad mini 4, beating the Microsoft Surface 3 to the title.
The Apple Watch was named Best Wearable in a crowded category, with the Withings Activite taking second place.
Stuart Miles, founder and chief executive of Pocket-lint said: 'Apple's influence in the industry continues to dominate winning two - Best Tablet and Best Wearable - as well as coming runner-up in two more.
'When it comes to wearables, Apple Watch is the smartwatch to have, winning the votes from the judging panel, industry votes, and public.'

The winners were decided by a panel of judges, the tech industry and the general public.
The vote breakdown was 60 per cent from the panel, 30 per cent from the tech industry and 10 per cent from the public.
Mr Miles continued: 'The Pocket-lint Awards has always been a fantastic barometer of what the industry thinks, and this year is no different.
'Looking at the winners, 4K has finally arrived with both an excellent TV to watch it on, but also a set top box, the Amazon Fire TV, delivering the content.'
LG won the Best TV category with its 65EF950V 4K OLED set, with Samsung's 4K set as runner up, while Amazon's Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD (pictured) was named Best Home Entertainment Device

Still in the home, the Best Smarthome Device was awarded to Philips Hue - an automated lighting system that can wake users up and uses different lights for different moods.
Best Laptop was given to Dell's XPS 13, which beat Apple's MacBook, and Best Camera went to the Leica Q.
Last year, Sony's PlayStation 4 won the battle of the consoles but this category wasn't included this year due to the lack of big releases.
However, the Best Game went to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, pipping Halo 5: Guardians to the title.
Meanwhile, Sphero's BB-8 Star Wars droid was named Best Connected Toy.
