HOW DOES FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE WORK?
Marketplace is a trading platform that lets Facebook users list and search for items on sale in their area.
To find a specific item, search top and filter your results by location, category and price.
Items listed will show details such as product description, the name and profile photo of the seller and their general location.
Facebook first launched its Marketplace platform in 2014 and it's quickly become a rising competitor with Craigslist and eBay. Users can list and buy items on the platform
Facebook has it setup so the buyer and seller can chat through the app before closing the deal.
To sell an item, take a photo of it, enter the information such as description and price.
Then just confirm your location, select a category and post it.
