Blackburn Rovers line up loan swoop for Arsenal striker Jay Emmanuel-Thomas
Blackburn are eyeing a loan deal for Arsenal youngster Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
The powerfully built Londoner, skipper of Arsenal's FA Youth Cup-winning side in 2009, has been capped by England at both Under 17 and Under 19 levels.
On the move: Emmanuel-Thomas (left) is set to leave Arsenal in January
He had loan spells with Blackpool and Doncaster last season, netting six times in 26 appearances.
QPR, and Ipswich have also been tracking the 20-year-old, who has so far made just one senior start for the Gunners, along with three substitute outings.
Blackburn have been linked with sensational moves for David Beckham and Ronaldinho during the January transfer window as new owners Venky's look to bring a high-profile name to Ewood Park.
