Swansea could appeal QPR decision after missing out on automatic promotion
Swansea City have refused to rule out legal action against the FA’s decision not to deduct points from Queens Park Rangers.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins, whose side finished in third place, said: 'We want to see what has gone on and how they have come to the decision they have. When we get the right information we will read it and take it from there.'
Eyes on the prize: Rodgers' side narrowly missed out on automatic promotion
Swansea moved above rivals Cardiff following a comfortable win over relegated Sheffield United, courtesy of goals from Stephen Dobbie (2), Scott Sinclair and former United midfielder Leon Britton.
Brendan Rodgers' outfit now face a play-off semi-final against Nottingham Forest, with the first leg at the City Ground on Thursday.
