Ancelotti: I spoke to the Italians, then the Brazilians... but I just grunted at Beckham!
Carlo Ancelotti has joked that he used to get his message across to David Beckham via 'grunts and gestures' during their time at AC Milan.
Now the Real Madrid manager, Ancellotti was in charge at the San Siro for Beckham's first spell with the club in 2009.
And he has revealed the found it difficult to relay his tactics to the former England captain.

'First, you tell the Italians, in Italian,' he told the Financial Times. 'Then, you tell the Brazilians, in pseudo-Italian, and then you tell Beckham, with grunts and gestures.'
Ancellotti earned his 500th career win on Saturday when Madrid thrashed Real Betis 5-0 to move level on points with leaders Barcelona.
And he also revealed that Gareth Bale is settling in well at the Bernabeu since his move from Tottenham in the summer.

'Bale didn’t have a lot of problems, because he is a humble man, not very demandingm' he said.
'He doesn’t want too much. He is starting to speak [Spanish]. My job is to help him be comfortable on the pitch, comfortable with teammates. We have a lot of players that speak English.'
