Embarrassment for BT as irate Sunderland fan's expletive-filled rant is broadcast live
BT Sport bosses were left red-faced after a Sunderland fan was heard calling players 's***' in the first half of the 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light.
The home side had been played off the park by Southampton in the opening exchanges of the lunch time kick-off, going a goal down after just four minutes.
Commentary team Darren Fletcher and Michael Owen were talking of the unrest in the stands when the channel cut to the crowd.

An irate Sunderland fan then let off an expletive ridden tirade, calling several of the players 's***'.
The cameras quickly cut away and Fletcher was forced to apologise.
The supporter will have had a calmer second half, however, as he saw his side battle from two goals down to earn a point.
