Howzat? Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier gives Sky cricket pundit the boot
- Matt Le Tissier was a guest on Sky cricket for the Test with Pakistan
- A batting collapse of five wickets for 17 cost England dealy
- England were eventually all out for 242 in first innings of second Test
Soccer Saturday’s Matt Le Tissier showed his competitive streak is still intact as a guest on Sky cricket.
The Southampton legend joined fellow pundit Rob Key during the tea interval in England’s dramatic batting collapse in the UAE.
Le Tissier was up against former England cricketer Key in a keepy-uppy challenge, reaching 24 before losing control of the ball and firing the ball towards his opponent from close range.

It may have been a miscue from the former England international, who called to presenter Ian Ward ‘he’s in the way…obstruction referee!’
Key then had a go but hit the TV camera with his deflected opening kicks. A second attempt produced a total well off Le Tisser’s, who was left in raptures of laughter.
The mood in the studio was far better than with Alastair Cook’s men in Dubai.
The tourists endured a torrid batting day to lose five wickets for 17 and nearly lose hope of a second Test victory over Pakistan.
England were eventually all out for 242 in first innings of second Test which handed Pakistan a first innings lead of 136, which they extended to 358 as a weary attack struggled to make many inroads.
