Patrick Vieira may have only just been given the job of New York City head coach but is already being tipped to one day return to Manchester City as manager.
The former France international, whose work with the club's development squad has seen his stock rise, will take the reins at his new club from January 1.
And youngster Manu Garcia, who is one of Viera's prodigies tipped to reach the top, is already harbouring hope of working under the former Arsenal and Juventus midfielder one day in the future.

The 17-year-old's name first came to the fore after performing a stunning roulette and lob during training, in footage that had fans crooning last year.
He then proceeded to make his debut against Sunderland in the Capital One Cup back in September, before scoring the fifth goal in City's comprehensive 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the same competition.
Such eye-catching performances mean he could be a significant part of the club's future, and Garcia believes Viera's stewardship could benefit him even more a few years down the line.
'He's a big influence,' he is quoted as saying by Goal.com.
Garcia believes that working under Vieira has helped create an established 'philosophy' at the Etihad
'It's amazing for us to have had him and I hope sometime in the future we work together again, but we will see.'
Garcia also spoke of his belief that Vieira's work has helped the club establish a consistent playing style across all teams.
'It's our philosophy and Patrick Vieira's philosophy and the philosophy, as well, of the first team at the club.'
Vieira ended his playing career at City, having also represented Arsenal, Real Madrid, Juventus and Inter
The Spaniard featured for the club's Under-19 clash with Borussia Monchengladbach where, despite being reduced to 10 me, they were able to claim the point needed to win their group.
'We just wanted to keep going and keep playing, and enjoying what we do, which is playing great football,' he added.
'So we try to keep the ball when we have it and obviously we had to drop a bit because obviously with 10 men you can't press all the time, but I believe it was a really good game all round.'
