Duo struggling for Spurs
Tottenham midfielders Michael Brown (foot) and Pedro Mendes (toe) are likely to miss the rest of the season and are unavailable for Sunday's home game against Aston Villa.
Michael Dawson is expected to keep his place in the starting line-up and partner Ledley King at the centre of defence as Noureddine Naybet (ankle) is doubtful after sitting out training this week.
Noe Pamarot is out until the start of next season after surgery on his knee earlier this week while fellow defender Anthony Gardner (foot) is also sidelined for the rest of the campaign.
Team (from): Robinson, Kelly, Dawson, King, Edman, Davies, Davis, Ziegler, Carrick, Reid, Kanoute, Mido, Defoe, Keane, Naybet, Cerny, Marney.
Ridgewell returns
Aston Villa central defender Liam Ridgewell will return for Sunday's trip to Tottenham.
England Under-21 international Ridgewell has been suspended for the last three matches after being sent-off against West Brom earlier this month.
He is set to link-up at the heart of the Villa defence with Denmark international Martin Laursen.
The availability of Ridgewell will allow Mark Delaney to return to his more accustomed role at right-back.
Villa are definitely without central defender Olof Mellberg, who could miss the rest of the season after knee surgery, and midfielder Gavin McCann.
McCann will definitely miss the remainder of the campaign having broken down with more knee problems earlier this month, forcing him to undergo a second operation this year.
Provisional squad: Sorensen, De La Cruz, Delaney, Laursen, Ridgewell, Samuel, Barry, Solano, Davis, Hendrie, Berson, Whittingham, Hitzlsperger, Vassell, L Moore, Angel, Cole, Djemba-Djemba, Postma.
Van Nistelrooy absent
Striker Ruud van Nistelrooy will miss Manchester United's trip to Charlton on Sunday after failing to recover from the ankle injury he suffered in training last week.
Paul Scholes returns for the Barclays Premiership match after a one-match suspension but Gary Neville is still out as he serves the second of a three-game ban following his dismissal at Everton.
Argentinian defender Gabriel Heinze is out with ankle ligament damage and faces a race against time to be fit for the FA Cup final against Arsenal on May 21.
Provisional squad: Howard, Carroll, P Neville, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Brown, O'Shea, Fortune, Ronaldo, Scholes, Keane, Giggs, Miller, Kleberson, Fletcher, Rooney, Smith, Bellion, Spector, Eagles, Pique, Rossi.
Addicks have defensive concerns
Charlton manager Alan Curbishley has some defensive concerns ahead of the Barclays Premiership clash with Manchester United at The Valley.
Full-back Hermann Hreidarsson has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury but Paul Konchesky is now available again following suspension and could slot in on the left side of the back four.
Luke Young will probably move across to his natural right-back slot after filling in for Hreidarsson at Norwich last weekend, so versatile Bulgarian Radostin Kishishev would then be freed up to return to the midfield.
Curbishley must again decide whether to use Francis Jeffers as a lone striker or to switch to a 4-4-2 formation and utilise the likes of Kevin Lisbie or Jonatan Johansson alongside him in attack.
Provisional squad: Kiely, Young, El Karkouri, Fortune, Konchesky, Kishishev, Holland, Murphy, Hughes, Rommedahl, Johansson, Jeffers, Andersen, Perry, Euell, Lisbie, Thomas, Fish, Fuller.
Greening back from ban
West Bromwich Albion are boosted by the return of Jonathan Greening for Monday's clash with Arsenal at The Hawthorns.
The former Manchester United and Middlesbrough midfielder is set to replace Richard Chaplow after missing three games through suspension following his sending off against Aston Villa earlier this month.
The recall of Greening is likely to be the only change manager Bryan Robson makes to the side that started Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers.
Albion skipper Kevin Campbell will lead the attack against his former club.
Squad: Hoult, Albrechtsen, Gaardsoe, Clement, Robinson, Gera, Wallwork, Richardson, Chaplow, Greening, Inamoto, Campbell, Horsfield, Earnshaw, Kanu, Moore, Scimeca, Kuszczak.
