Noel Gallagher predicts Manchester City will beat Real Madrid in extra-time... and 'little Raheem' Sterling could score the winner
- Noel Gallagher perfectly predicted the outcome of Capital One Cup final
- He claimed Manchester City would beat Liverpool with Yaya Toure scoring the winning penalty in the shoot-out
- Oasis legend now believes City will triumph against Real Madrid
Manchester City fan and Oasis legend Noel Gallagher correctly called the outcome of the Capital One Cup final, and he's been at the predictions game again ahead of Manchester City's showdown with Real Madrid.
Gallagher proved himself to be something of a guru when he correctly declared that City would triumph in the Capital One Cup final against Liverpool in February, and that it would come through Yaya Toure's winning penalty in the shoot-out.
And ahead of City's trip to the Bernabeu on Wednesday night for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final, Gallagher believes his side will beat Real, with an 'unsung hero' scoring the vital goal late in extra-time.

Gallagher predicted that City would beat Real Madrid and progress to the Champions League final
'I think, or I hope I should say, I hope we're going to win the tie,' he said. 'I'm going to say it's going to be a long night, I'm going to go for extra-time again and I think we'll win.
'I think we're going to win by a very late equaliser and I don't know who's going to score, but I think it will be one of the unsung heroes, maybe Fernando, Fernandinho, or even little Raheem [Sterling], who's having a bit of a tough time. I don't think it's going to be one of the big guns [who scores].'
Despite the prediction, Gallagher was then asked whether he was confident of victory, to which he replied: 'Absolutely not!'
Ahead of City's Capital One Cup win, Gallagher predicted: ‘I think it's going to be mega close and I'm not very optimistic. But I'm going to say we'll win on penalties.’

Then when asked who was going to score the winning penalty, Gallagher replied: ‘Yaya. Roll it in.’
Manchester City are aiming to make it to their first ever Champions League final, having previously never progressed past the last-16 stage of the competition.
Manuel Pellegrini's side drew 0-0 with Real Madrid in the first leg of their tie with Real last week at the Etihad, and whomever triumphs on Wednesday night will face Atletico Madrid in the final later this month.
