Neymar lauded the efforts of his Paris Saint-Germain team-mates after he was forced to watch on as Real Madrid dumped them out of the Champions League.
Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro ensured Los Blancos progressed through to the quarter-finals, building on their first-leg victory in Madrid.
The Parisians faced an uphill battle in trying to overcome Real's two-goal advantage going into the tie, especially given their superstar playmaker was crocked with a fractured foot.
Estou triste pela derrota, muito mais triste por não estar em campo ajudando meus companheiros!! O que me deixa orgulhoso é ver o esforço de todos. Parabéns mon gars, ALLEZ PARIS pic.twitter.com/wIUiA0nPkw

Neymar is currently sidelined with a fractured metatarsal but said he was 'proud' of his team
Despite the loss, the Brazilian, who is recovering from surgery on the broken metatarsal, expressed his pride in the players' efforts on Tuesday night.
He wrote on Twitter: 'I am sad for defeat, much sadder for not being in the field helping my companions!!
'What makes me proud is to see everyone's effort. Congratulations my guys, ALLEZ PARIS.'
It means PSG are now fighting only on the domestic front for silverware this season.
Unai Emery's side sit atop Ligue 1, are in the Coupe de la Ligue final and the semi-finals of the Coupe de France.
They face Metz on Saturday in their next league outing.
The Brazilian is expected to be out for a couple of months after surgery on a broken foot
