Posted on the club's social media channels, the pair's 'signing' for the Old Lady was another classy tribute to one of the goalkeeping elite.
The pictures were part of the #UN1CO campaign by Juventus which marked Buffon's send-off.
'In football, there are a select few players who transcend a sport where rivalries and passions run so deep, but Buffon commands the respect of not only those who share the pitch with numero uno, but those who have the privilege of watching him from the stand,' reads the club's official website.
'While so much of his mystique relates to how he carries himself off the pitch, at the end of the day the performances on the field define a player and Buffon is truly the complete package of a modern goalkeeper.

'With lightning-quick reflexes, the wingspan of a basketball player and immaculate decision-making, Buffon provides an everlasting example for all who stand between the pipes.'
Having played 656 games for Juventus, Buffon appears to be closing in on a move to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain as Thomas Tuchel looks to get his tenure underway.
He has had interest from his former club Parma and Premier League clubs including West Ham but talks have accelerated quickly with the French champions and a two-year contract is said to be in place.
