Lewis Hamilton may have long ago wrapped up the drivers' championship but the Briton is no less fired up to claim the 44th Grand Prix victory of his career at Formula One's season finale.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix precedes the 44th UAE National Day, celebrated on December 2 each year, and for the race Hamilton has revealed a special helmet and gloves in the country's honour.
'I've got a special helmet with the logo 44, with the special colours, and on my gloves,' he said in a video posted on Twitter. And I'm going for my 44th Grand Prix win. So that's my target this weekend and hopefully I'm going to be celebrating with you all here in the UAE.'

Hamilton could have worn the No 1 this season after claiming last year's championship with a double points win at this Yas Marina Circuit, but opted to stick with the No 44 he's raced with since his go-carting days.
Hamilton is eager to end the winning streak of team-mate Nico Rosberg, who's driving for his third straight victory this weekend following the races in Brazil and Mexico. The German has also had a strangle-hold on pole position at F1's last five destinations.
'Last year, this place brought probably the most intense weekend of my life,' Hamilton said on Wednesday. 'I didn't sleep much through nerves and not knowing what was ahead. But this time around there's no pressure, so I'll be well-rested and aiming to go out on a high.'
While Hamilton was sporting a steely gaze on Thursday ahead of practice on Friday, leading up to Sunday's last 55 laps of the season, Ferriri's Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen showed they haven't lost their sense of childlike fun in go-karts.
The Ferrari team-mates tore up the track at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi as they let their hair down for their primary sponsor.
The duo from Germany and Finland also enjoyed the amusement park's rollercoaster car.
