Chelsea 0-0 Liverpool RECAP: Bruno's reign kicks off as Potter's ended with Blues drawing a blank despite dominating at Stamford Bridge, as Kovacic misses two big chances with Havertz effort ruled out
Follow Sportsmail's live blog for the Premier League clash between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
You can catch the fallout with our match report here - but while it's all been change for Chelsea off the pitch and Liverpool on it - it's the same old problems for both sides. Thanks for following all.
90min: It's a game that has largely fizzled out in this second half, and a fourth consecutive 0-0 in this fixture is on the way here if a winning goal cannot be found in the five added on minutes.
85min: A good run-out from Felix but his time is up this evening as former Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling replaces him - he couldn't could he?
82min: Liverpool really have looked toothless tonight. If taking out Salah and other first-team stars was meant to light a rocket up this team it hasn't worked.
Only one team looks like winning this as we enter the final 10 or so minutes.
79min: Meanwhile it's a double switch for Liverpool as Cody Gakpo and James Milner replace Jones and Nunez.
78min: Mykhailo Mudryk is on for Ben Chilwell as Chelsea go more attacking to try and find a winner.
74min: That might also explain why we are seeing the bookings go up too. Felix has been in the wars tonight and after going down to a raised arm from Fabinho in a battle for the ball, the latter is given a yellow card.
73min: Not seen much of Salah since he came on nearly 10 minutes ago - then again neither side have been near goal in that time. It's gone rather scrappy.
70min: A first change for Chelsea too as N'Golo Kante in his first start since August has run out of gas and to warm applause is replaced by Conor Gallagher.
67min: Meanwhile Kovacic is booked after falling to ground and losing the ball before quickly getting up and tripping Fabinho. It's the former action though that has led to him going down for treatment on his knee. He looks like he will be ok to continue for now though.
65min: On come Salah and Robertson in a laregely like for like swap as Roberto Firmino and Tsimikas make way.
Salah out to the right as Diogo Jota moves central.
61min: A third booking for Liverpool as Curtis Jones sees yellow for dissent after being barged off the ball. A hour without a goal and Klopp is turning to more familiar faces as Andy Robertson and Mo Salah are getting ready to come on.
57min: A tidy effort from Darwin Nunez but his 25 yard effort is comfortably stopped by Kepa Arrizabalaga.
54min: Chelsea would be good value to take the lead in truth and a couple of half-chances pass as Reece James and Felix fire off target.
50min: Breakthrough for Chelsea or is it?! Kai Havertz is put through on goal but after his shot bounces off Alisson it hits his arm and goes in (below). It wasn't spotted at the time but VAR is soon on the case to rule it out. Big amount of groans greet that decision.
48min: How has Mateo Kovacic missed this?! Joao Felix does ever so well to prod him through on goal but faced with an onrushing Alisson he can only blast over the bar from the edge of the box. Unforgivable not to score there.
46min: Just over 30 seconds later and Liverpool threaten but Curtis Jones is unable to make the most of his low ball into the box which perhaps could have been better in finding a team-mate. Thirty seconds after that, Joel Matip is booked for bringing down Joao Felix.
No changes which is probably expected as we get going again.
And with that half-time whistle now being blown - that officially marks seven hours of football having been contested in this fixture without a goal being scored. Those last few seconds though prove we have been close to that drought being broken.
45min: We are into three added minutes at Stamford Bridge. As 0-0s go this hasn't been as bad as you may think just looking at the scoreline.
Gomez stings the palms of Kepa from 20 yards before the resulting corner sees Wesley Fofana make a vital block.
44min: A shot on goal from Liverpool. Darwin Nunez has a go with a shot no better than a half-chance but Kepa is more than equal to it.
41min: Chance before the break for Liverpool as they win a rare corner... only for Tsimikas to fail to even beat his first man with the delivery. Standing in for Robertson, he really hasn't made the most of his rare first-team chance at left-back.
38min: Chelsea keep on coming forward as it stands but while they have looked the better team, they also haven't forced Alisson into many saves if any at all. Story of their season really. No striker - despite having spent £600m on players.
35min: Meanwhile as Liverpool continue to offer next to nothing going forward, the travelling Reds supports burst into a 'Mo Salah chant'.
He'll be coming on sooner rather than later at this rate. It's not been good enough from the Reds so far even if Chelsea at the Bridge isn't the fairest of tests for a much changed team.
32min: Bit sloppy that from Alisson, who taking a backpass from Tsimikas hesitates on the ball a little too long before his clearance takes a deflection off the charging down Havertz.
That wasn't too far away from his error against Real Madrid in the Champions League at Anfield recently.
29min: On an evening when sacked Chelsea manager are all the talk, it's interesting to note that previous boss Frank Lampard is in the building along with a coach Chris Jones.
If you are keeping count at home, he was the one that came before Thomas Tuchel before he was dismissed in January 2021. Maybe he is in line for a shock return? No?
26min: That goal has indeed been ruled out for offside against Fernandez - and it's the correct call, no matter how sweet James struck home what he thought was the opening goal.
24min: Reece James fires home a cracking half volley following a corner but it looks like it will be disallowed after Enzo Fernandez was just a fraction in front getting onto the end of a flick on.
21min: Liverpool look to be slowly getting their foot in the game. They are at least passing the ball about with some confidence now - rather than playing hot potato with it like they were earlier in the game.
18min: Not too much for Liverpool going forward either. One attack leads to Kepa Arrizabalaga rushing off his line to clear to a Reds player but the resulting shot at goal is cleared by a covering Blues defender.
15min: Liverpool are really struggling here. The midfield is being overrun and Chelsea are constantly bombarding them with attacks. The defence though is standing up well as Fabinho blocks Felix's latest shot from the edge of the box.
12min: There are goals in this for Chelsea, certainly. Now Ben Chilwell cuts a pass to Kai Havertz at the near post but he can't get a meaningful touch as the ball wiggles away to safety.
9min: It's all happening here. Now Matip is a little lucky to not be booked after a wild looking lunge on Felix on the halfway line, although replays seem to indicate he slipped a little in the incident that took place right in front of the referee.
Kostas Tsimikas loses the ball again up field and Chelsea counter once more. Mateo Kovacic takes the ball past Alisson after Ibrahima Konate makes a mess of a cross but the defender also recovers well to make a crucial block on the line to prevent a goal.
3min: Top opportunity for Chelsea here. Joao Felix counter attacks through the centre and looks clear on goal, but after cantering into the box his shot on goal is crucially blocked by a recovering Joel Matip before the ball is run out wide.
Reds looking rocky already here.
A reminder of the team news:

A win tonight for Liverpool and they go within five points of fourth place of Spurs with a game in hand. The trouble is Man Utd in fifth, also on 50 points, have two games in hand on Spurs.
Out come the teams...
The last three games have finished 0-0 including two cup finals. That's five and a half hours without a goal.
The last goal in this fixture came in January 2022 when Christian Pulisic equalised on the stroke of half-time at Stamford Bridge in a 2-2 draw. At least there has been goals at this venue.
Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, who also played for the Blues, is at Stamford Bridge this evening and he caught up with Klopp pre-match.
Saltor makes two changes, recalling Wesley Fofana and N'Golo Kante for Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mykhailo Mudryk. Kante is making his first Premier League start since August.
'No, [I didn't expect this]. What Jurgen Klopp has done is certain players play every game. He hasn't just changed the team he has changed mainstays from years gone by. What happened at the Eithad on Saturday has led to this.'
No Trent Alexander-Arnold, no Mohamed Salah and no Andy Robertson in the starting line-up
Virgil van Dijk is out too but that may be due to illness - it's just the second Liverpool line-up without the latter three since 2017.
Alisson, Gomez, Matip, Konate, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Henderson, Jones, Jota, Nuenz, Firmino
But who will they pick for the Stamford Bridge clash? Team news from both sides coming up as Darwin Nunez, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alisson are among those greeting a Reds mascot.
Quite a bit going on this evening. We are sticking with everything Liverpool vs Chelsea here but you can catch the latest elsewhere in the top flight with Tamara Prenn right here.
It is of course Chelsea's first match since sacking Graham Potter at the weekend following a 2-0 defeat at home by Aston Villa, and here is an insight on what to expect from Bruno Saltor's first match as interim boss.
At the start of the season you could easily have looked at this fixture and seen it as quite a crucial battle in the Premier League title race.
Funny old game football though. Here we are in April and this isn't too far away from being mid-table nothingness.
However, plenty for each club to focus on at Stamford Bridge tonight as I bring you our live coverage of all the action. It should still be a game you cannot afford to miss - as Stamford Bridge's ticket sales point towards.
