This is your chance to win a fabulous lunch for two aboard the newly-refurbished cruise liner Grand Princess – courtesy of Princess Cruises and TravelMail. We have 20 pairs of tickets to give away for a lunch on board Grand Princess in Southampton on Saturday August 6th in the ship's new Crown Grill restaurant.

Grand Princess, which made her cruise debut in 1998, has just completed a month-long makeover to incorporate the Crown Grill and a host of other new features.

Exciting new features onboard

The new Piazza atrium: The atrium space of Grand Princess will be completely rebuilt to include this signature Princess feature. This will be the social hub of the ship, where passengers can opt for a tasty array of quick bites, light meals and beverages - as well as finding entertainment, shopping and guest services. The Piazza will feature the International Café for pastries, grilled panini sandwiches, salads, fresh-baked cookies and a variety of coffees.  Passenger will also be able to enjoy the new Vines wine bar, which will offer a selection of more than 30 wines by the glass - plus a selection of tapas, sushi, artisan meats, and a wine shop where passengers can purchase their favourite bottle.

Dream world: Grand Princess will feature the magnificent new Piazza atrium

Leaves Tea Lounge and Library: An elegant space created in partnership with the Mighty Tea Leaf Company, and offering up to 500 different teas. A trained tea sommelier can assist passengers in blending their own brew which they can enjoy in the relaxing surroundings of the library.

Alfredo's Pizzeria: Named after the line's master executive chef, Alfredo Marzi. The restaurant features an open kitchen where diners can watch their own pizza being prepared. Princess is known for the quality of its pizzas, and Alfredo’s will have an enticing menu of freshly-prepared individual-size pizzas - which passengers can enjoy enjoy with a glass of wine or other beverage.

Tea for two: Passengers can relax with a cup of tea amid the library atmosphere of Leaves

One5 Lounge – a brand new nightclub on Deck 15 and the place to be for nightime dancing and relaxing. It offers a cool vibe, contemporary seating and lighting, and a dramatic back-lit bar.

Crown Grill: A classic steakhouse with rich wood decor, this specialty restaurant features an open, theatre-style kitchen where chefs prepare premium aged beef and fresh seafood, including lobsters.

Also part of the renovation will be 10 new suites, a remodelled casino, boutiques and an art gallery.

Then there are the enhancements to the Horizon Court, the Lotus Spa, and the wedding chapel - as well as the addition of Crooner’s Martini Lounge.

Ship shape: The Grand Princess has just undergone a major renovation

“This is the largest makeover we’ve ever undertaken for any of our ships,” says Pieter van der Schee of Princess Cruises UK. “Grand Princess was the most innovative cruise ship when she was launched, and is already very popular in Britain. With the latest innovations from her recent sister ships added, she will be an even greater attraction for British cruisers looking for a relaxing holiday.”

The newly renovated Grand Princess makes her debut in Southampton on May 21st with cruise itineraries that offer passengers even greater choice.

In addition to her popular 14-night Mediterranean cruises and seven-night short breaks, there are two 17-night cruises from the UK to the central Mediterranean, including Venice.

There is also an 11-night cruise to the Canary Islands and Madeira, and a 14-night cruise to Norway and Spitsbergen.

Travellers who would prefer a shorter break might fancy a three-night Weekend Sampler, which will give new customers an opportunity to try out the Grand Princess.

2. Prize is lunch for two people on Grand Princess on August 6, 2011 in Southampton.

3. The 20 winning entries will be drawn at random from the valid entries received before the closing date. The decision of Princess Cruises will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. No cash alternative offered. Prize is non-transferable.

4. Winners will be notified by July 8, 2011. Names of the winners may be obtained by sending an SAE to Princess Cruises, Carnival House, 100 Harbour Parade, Southampton S015 1ST.

5. No employees of Carnival plc may enter the draw. The draw is open only to residents of the UK.

6. Only one entry per person. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. No bulk or third-party entries accepted.
