Stabbed school boy remains critical
An 11-year-old boy remains in a critical condition after a stabbing in a south Auckland school on Tuesday.
The boy suffered head injuries after being stabbed, reportedly with a pair of scissors, during a fight at Mangere's Pacific Christian School.
He remained a critical condition on Saturday evening, a spokeswoman for Starship Children's Hospital said.
Pacific Christian School has been open since 2005, when it began as a pre-school and primary school before it expanded enrolment to include intermediate and secondary grades.
