Newton-John slashes mansion price
Olivia Newton-John has slashed another $US100,000 ($A131,200) off the price of her Florida mansion in an attempt to offload the waterside property with a tragic history.
The price tag is now $US5.5 million after at least four reductions from the original August, 2013 listing of $US6.2 million, the Palm Beach Post reported.
The 66-year-old four-time Grammy Award winner was close to selling the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home in the Jupiter Inlet Colony in Palm Beach to comedienne Rosie O'Donnell soon after it was listed.
But, Christopher Pariseleti, a 41-year-old contractor, committed suicide on the property and O'Donnell pulled out.
Newton-John reportedly held an exorcism with a Catholic priest at the house, but still has been unable to attract a buyer.
The singer bought the 511 square metre home, which has lagoon pool and dock for a 24m yacht, in May 2009 for $US4.1 million and spent $US2 million on a renovation.
