Train woes for Brisbane commuters

A power fault on a train line is causing headaches for Brisbane commuters.

All train services into the CBD were cut on Monday morning after an overhead power line came down at Bowen Hills.

CBD services have since resumed, but services are only running on four of the usual six lines into the CBD, meaning commuters could face delays of up to half an hour.

Services on the Ferny Grove line remain suspended between Mitchelton and Bowen Hills, with buses servicing that route.

Queensland Rail said it was working as quickly as it could to restore full services, and has apologised to customers for the problem.
