Roar's Young taking his A-League chances

Brisbane coach John Aloisi says Jamie Young is doing everything right to retain the job in goals in the absence of injured first-choice Michael Theo.

Long-time deputy Young has impressed since Theo succumbed to a nagging finger injury in early November and will be called on against A-League leaders Sydney FC at Suncorp Stadium on Monday.

The potent Sky Blue have scored a league-high 35 goals this season, while the ninth-placed Roar are desperate to rebound from a 2-0 home loss to the Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday.
