Fifth man charged over NSW stabbing death
A fifth person has been charged with the stabbing murder of a man during a group break-in in Sydney's northwest almost three months ago.
A group of at least five males allegedly entered a Riverstone home in the early hours of May 24 and fatally wounded the 39-year-old man before fleeing.
A 34-year-old woman also suffered minor injuries in the fracas and was treated at the scene. A 42-year-old woman at the home was not injured.
Police later found a firearm and knife away from the home and subsequently released CCTV footage of a Subaru Forrester vehicle possibly linked to the attack.
A 20-year-old St Marys man and three boys - two aged 17 and one aged 16 - have previously been charged with murder and remain before NSW courts.
Detectives arrested a 21-year-old man at a St Clair home on Wednesday morning and he was taken to Riverstone Police Station, where he was charged with murder and accessory to murder.
He will appear at Blacktown Local Court on Wednesday.
