Senate roll vote on Education
WASHINGTON (AP) — The 85-12 roll call Wednesday by which the Senate approved a sweeping rewrite of the education law, sending the measure to President Barack Obama for his signature.
A "yes" vote is a vote to pass the bill.
Voting yes were 44 Democrats, 40 Republicans and 1 independent.
Voting no were 0 Democrats and 12 Republicans.
