-- Prime Minister Boiko Borisov plans to offer all ministers to refrain from participating in the election campaign for this year's local elections (Trud, Standart, Presa).

-- Vidin-based car tyre maker Vidachim will axe 314 of its 446 workers as of Monday. The company said it is resorting to the staff cuts because it cannot provide work for its employees and pay their salaries and social security contributions (Standart, Monitor, Presa).

-- Desislava Atanasova, the head of the newly-established parliamentary ad-hoc committee on Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank), has called for the resignation of central bank's governor Ivan Iskrov over the poor supervision of the central bank, which had led to the crisis with Bulgaria's fourth-largest lender (Sega, Monitor).

-- CSKA Sofia slumped to their third league defeat in a row when they lost 2-0 at Botev Plovdiv on Sunday in game preceded by threats by the club supporters. CSKA fans urged the team to lose the game and send bitter city rivals Levski into the relegation group. Levski will finish outside Top 6 in the league for the first since 1938 (Meridian Match, Standart, Trud, 24 Chasa, Presa).
