Central Europeans reject European Commission migrant proposals
PRAGUE, May 4 (Reuters) - Central European foreign ministers rejected the EU executive's proposals on migration policy on Wednesday, with Hungary calling plans for a quota system to distribute asylum seekers and fines to opt out "blackmail".
"Regarding the fines proposed by the European Commission, it is blackmailing," Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said after a meeting with his counterparts from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland in Prague.
