Hi! I'd like to crowdsource some other thoughts regarding Google Gemini and was wondering if anyone else has noticed specific trends in sites that good, steady traffic from Google Gemini? I work at an agency and the collection of clients sites our company works on only has a handful that are randomly getting traffic from Google Gemini. We've look at everything from topic type, content structure, schema, multi-modal elements, internal linking, site structure elements like url structure, crawlability, etc. and haven't been able to find a common thread explaining why just a few sites are getting more steady traffic from Google Gemini. We even asked LLMs about this thought problem to no avail.
Have other SEOs had similar experiences or have completed similar reviews? Have you enacted specific strategy to increase Google Gemini traffic and have any of those strategies worked? Obviously there are best practices pertaining to SEO, digital marketing, etc. but I'm looking for recommendations specific to Google Gemini (if any).
I also understand that getting traffic from Google Gemini is somewhat dependent on users and their likelihood to use the tool but the inconsistency across my agency's clients when our clients cover similar topics/industries is very interesting and hard to navigate.
