Man United fans took to social media after Newcastle netted their second goal at Old Trafford on Monday night.

Joelinton climbed over Lisandro Martinez to head home a cross from Anthony Gordon and hand the visitors a 2-0 lead within just 20 minutes.

One user wrote on X: 'Sure, Joelinton can just knock it in the net with his arm.'

Another wrote: 'Replay Joelinton's goal. Literal handball, but okay.'

Gary Neville rued United's poor defending for the goal, and questioned whether the incident should have been disallowed.

'Casemiro and Eriksen shouldn't be playing together in the Premier League. It is just so easy,' he said.
