Joe Burrow gives cryptic comment over SI model Olivia Ponton as he breaks silence on home burglary
Joe Burrow has broken his silence after his home was broken into on Monday night, saying his 'privacy has been violated in more ways than one.'
Following the burglary, it was revealed in police documents seen by TMZĀ that Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Olivia Ponton - and not Burrow's long-time girlfriendĀ Olivia Holzmacher - was the one who called police from his home amid the break-in.
Burrow - who was playing the Cowboys in Dallas during the burglary - told reporters on Wednesday,' ... way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share.'
The 28-year-old Bengals star added that his lack of privacy wasĀ 'one of my least favorite parts' of being a pro athlete.
'That has been difficult for me to deal with my entire career - still learning, but I understand it's the life that we choose. [But it] doesn't make it any easier to deal with.'
Burrow looked visibly upset as he answered questions about the incident, and declined to comment further when asked if he had concerns about his home security.Ā

Olivia Ponton, who has 7.6million TikTok followers, is 'employed by Mr. Burrow', docs state
Burrow has been in a relationship with Olivia Holzmacher (left) since his college day
Earlier this year, the NFL issued a security alert to teams and players after recent burglaries at the homes of Kansas City Chiefs duo Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Ponton is said to have told officers that she noticed 'a shattered bedroom window and the room ransacked' when she arrived at the property.
It is unclear why Ponton - who boasts nearly eight million followers on TikTok - was at Burrow's home, though documents from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office state that she is 'employed by Mr. Burrow.'Ā
According to TMZ, Ponton could be heard saying in a call, 'Someone broke into my house ... It's like completely messed up.'
While the burglary drama was playing out back in Ohio, Burrow helped the Bengals secure a late 27-20 victory over the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
Burrow has (or had) been in a relationship with Holzmacher since his college days at Ohio State, with the pair first going public with their romance back in 2017.
Last year former Bengals cornerback Adam 'Pacman' Jones even claimed the couple were engaged during an appearance on ESPN's The Pat McAfee show, though neither party has ever confirmed as much.
Eagle-eyed fans also speculated that Olivia appeared to be wearing an engagement ring at around the same time.
However, Burrow and Holzmacher have not been seen in public together since the latter shared a photo of them in January, leading to rumors online that they may have gone their separate ways.
PontonĀ gave a clue into her potential relationship status in an interview which happened to be published on Tuesday.
'I think everyone has a 'revenge era' at some point in their life,' she told Cosmopolitan.
'While I'm not in mine now - I'm very happy and content - about two years ago, I definitely went through that phase.'
Neither Burrow nor Ponton have yet to comment on why she was present at his home on Monday.
