Corrections and clarifications

Charlotte Knobloch translation

An article (Elon Musk: Apparent use of banned Nazi salute met with anger in Germany, 22 January, p16) said that Charlotte Knobloch, the president of the Jewish community in Munich and Upper Bavaria, had described Musk’s gesture as “highly irritating”; a better translation of her original German (“höchst irritierend”) would be “highly disconcerting”.
