Corrections and clarifications

Marian Turski | Mindu Hornick

Our coverage of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz misspelled the surname of Marian Turski, a participating survivor, as “Turkli”. The 98-year-old gave a speech warning of a “huge rise” in antisemitism (Survivors call for courage amid rise of hatred 80 years after Auschwitz, 28 January, p4 from p1). Separately (Survivors’ stories, 27 January, p10), information that accompanied the account of Mindu Hornick said she went on to move to the UK and had two sons; in fact, she had two daughters.
