Drinking Water Inspectorate’s sampling for PFAS levels

Owing to an error in information provided to its authors, an article said that the Drinking Water Inspectorate’s latest sampling found 278 examples where untreated drinking water exceeded maximum guidance levels for PFAS, commonly known as “forever chemicals”. The actual total is 199 (Revealed: £1.6tn cost of ‘forever chemicals’, 14 January, p14 from p1).
