The World Downhill Skateboarding Championship ventured to Wales, with round two of the international series taking place on the steep and narrow Dolebolion farm track. Twenty-three elite riders representing nine nations came to Wales to 'ride the dragon', with a number of contenders crashing out of the competition. Three days of high-speed racing concluded with Australian Harry Clarke claiming the win and bragging rights in the open stand-up category and the Canadian Kolby Parks taking the podium and the world championship title in the street luge category
