- Avon's Eve Duet Reader’s Choice For Women at Fragrance Foundation Awards
- Affordable scent £16, consists of two parts that can be layered and mixed
- A bottle of the budget perfume is sold every single minute
- Beat competition from the likes of Gucci, YSL, Dior and Chanel
A £16 fragrance has beaten competition from high end fragrance houses including Chanel, Dior, Gucci and YSL to be crowned the UK's favourite.
Eve Duet by Avon sells a bottle every minute, and was recently voted the Reader’s Choice For Women with ELLE UK at the annual Fragrance Foundation Awards 2018.
The perfume, which has been championed by brand ambassador Eva Mendes, comes in a dual ended bottle so that people can layer and mix the scent.
The Sensual half has notes of pink peppercorn, night blooming jasmine, scarlet rose and patchouli, while its Radiance counterpart contains juicy citrus, apple, waterlily and blonde woods.
Avon's budget offering beat stiff competition from more than 60 other perfumes, including premium scents such as The House of Creed- White Amber- Les Royales Exclusives, which costs £320 for a 75ml bottle.

It's not the first budget fragrance to cause a stir this year as budget-conscious shoppers turn to purse-friendly options rather than splashing out on designer scents.
Last month, Superdrug's Layering Lab Body Mist collection - comprising six budget scents - was hailed as a rival for expensive eau de toilettes from high-end brands including Yves St. Laurent and Paco Rabanne, despite costing just a fraction of the price.
One enthusiastic fan tweeted: 'This @Superdrug body mist is only £3.49 and smells just like [Paco Rabanne's] Olympea! Girls get yourself to Superdrug and save some money.'
A second shopper claimed the 'Oriental' scent was a surefire way to 'smell good for just two quid', while another insisted she couldn't tell the different between Blossom and its high-end counterpart Alien.
In September last year, fans went wild for a new range of Primark perfumes with fragrances remarkably similar to Jo Malone blends for just a tiny fraction of the price.
Beauty fans took to Twitter to urge others to snap up the bargain buys costing £8 for a 100ml bottle, with one even claiming people were been stopping her in the street to ask if she's wearing Jo Malone.
And in March this year, Aldi jumped on the bandwagon with its new Luxury Collection perfumes and creams - a range of Jo Malone copycat scents costing from £2.99.
