It's a fashion face off! Spain's Queen Letizia and Haiti's glamorous First Lady don their finery for lunch at the National Palace in Port-au-Prince

They met for the first time this morning, but Queen Letizia of Spain appeared to be getting along famously with Haiti's First Lady as they teamed up for lunch today.
Letizia, 45, joined President Jovenel Moise his wife Martine for a meal at the National Palace in Port-au-Prince, which was destroyed in the 2010 earthquake.
The Spanish royal looked demure in a high-waisted floral skirt and sleeveless blouse as she posed for photographs on the palace steps with her hosts.
While Mme Moïse opted for a vibrant red dress featuring frilled sleeves and teamed with pointed crimson pumps.
The Spanish royal, who touched down in the Caribbean country on Tuesday, is on a working visit to see first-hand the projects carried out by Spanish cooperatives in the region.

They met for the first time earlier today, and Letizia and Martine appeared to be getting on famously as they donned their finery for an event at the National Palace in Port-au-Prince

After flying in from a whistle-stop tour of the Dominican Republic, she was greeted on the tarmac at Toussaint Louverture International Airport by Haitian First Lady, Mme Moïse, before beginning her whirlwind schedule of engagements.
Dressed in studded Hugo Boss cigarette pants and a sleeveless white shirt, the glamorous royal was welcomed with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers by a local school girl.
The two smartly-dressed women appeared to have unintentionally coordinated their outfits with both wearing black and white ensembles with near-identical shoes.

After her meeting with Madame Mois, Letizia attended a working meeting with representatives of Spanish non-governmental organizations and international organisations at Haiti Technical Cooperation Office (AECID).
She was accompanied by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and for Ibero-America, Fernando García Casas.
Next up, the mother-of-two visited the College Hermanas de Saint Vincent de Paul, in a neighborhood of the commune of Cite Soleil, located in the country's capital Port-au-Prince.

Letizia, who is mother to Princesses Leonor, 12, and Sofia, 10, kicked off her tour on Monday by visiting a water distribution project in the Monte Plata Province.

Over the years Letizia, a former newsreader, has worked hard to help causes she is passionate about.
These include education, innovation, rare diseases, and particularly in nutrition, working closely with the UN’s World Health and Food and Agriculture Organizations.
