Nervous: The TV duo appeared nervous as Jennifer told them what they would be required to do
'We can do it, yes, why not,' Jennifer replied.
Taking the two TV veterans for a private dance lesson, the 48-year-old who was joined by her creative director, donned gym gear to show Savannah and Hoda the ropes.
Or, as she put it, 'We can try.'
As a former Fly Girl and judge and executive producer on World of Dance, Jennifer is a pro at perfecting her moves, however she had her work cut out for her ahead of her dance lesson with Savannah and Hoda as they admitted they had limited repertoires.
'Obviously, the side clap is a signature move,' Savannah said ahead of the lesson as the pair nervously waited for Jennifer to arrive.
As for Hoda who previously admitted that the pair had 'mustered up the courage to try' she claimed to only have one go-to step — a mom shuffle-snap.
'She's got a lot of work to do,' Savannah and Hoda then chanted in unison.
However, the on-screen duo were eager to learn from Jennifer's expertise and were up for the challenge, even if they did look a little star-struck to begin with.
'It'll be great or terrible,' Savannah said. 'But we're super fans. It's gonna be great!'
Moves: Alongside her creative director, Jennifer instructed the TV veterans on the moves featured in her new video
Formation: While Savannah and Hoda appeared hesitant at first, as the lesson progressed they seemed to let their hair down and get more into the routine
Money shot: While they followed Jennifer's directions, they struggled to perfect their moves however J Lo kindly told them that their moves 'felt good'
Getting what she wants: During the segment, J Lo also discussed women deserving equal pay and told the Today hosts 'I want the money, I want the ring, I want whatever I want'
Speaking about the meaning behind the song, J Lo shared that breaking the glass ceiling was behind the dance and song which translates as 'money' in English.
'We are women and we deserve equal pay,' Lopez said.
She also added: 'I want the money, I want the ring, I want whatever I want.'
And that's just what the moves mimicked — until Hoda and Savannah decided to show her their signature steps.
'Can we just show off a little bit of freestyle?' Hoda asked before showing Jennifer how to do the side-clap.
However, by the end, the amateur dancers managed to keep up with the routine.
'I felt you working, I felt you sticking with us for the whole thing. Felt good to me,' Jennifer told an out of breath Savannah and Hoda.
To which Hoda jokingly replied: 'We are available if you need anything, we're here'.
