Just in time for summer! Malibu launches a new MANGO-flavoured Caribbean rum (and it contains just 104 calories per serving)

The weather is warming up and the sun is making a rare appearance, which means that light and fruity drinks are back on the menu at bars across the country.

Now just in time for summer, Malibu has added a new mango flavour to its range to give drinkers a taste of the tropics.

The 1 litre bottles contain Malibu's familiar Caribbean coconut rum mixed with a mango liqueur, and each 60ml serving contains 104 calories and 8g of sugar.

Like the original coconut flavour, the new drink is designed to be a base for your choice of mixer, but can be drunk straight too.

However sadly the flavour isn't available in the UK as it's a US-onle flavour - but a new passion fruit flavour will be launching in Britain.

It is the latest offering by Malibu after the brand launched a pineapple flavour last year.

Malibu's website describes the new drink as: 'Mouth-watering mango and creamy coconut create a taste so fresh that the good times will be flowing before you know it.'

Malibu has an ABV of 21 per cent, so it's recommended you mix the drink with a soft drink such as tonic or Coca Cola.

The brand also recently launched pre-mixed cans of Pina Colada containing its original Caribbean rum with coconut liqueur.

They cost £1.80 each and are perfect for picnics in the park.
