A suspected shoplifter got her comeuppance when she ran straight into a set of revolving doors whilst trying to make a stealthy exit.
The woman can be seen attempting to make a swift exit from the Baywest Mall in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, before charging straight into the revolving glass door.
CCTV footage from a security video sees the woman, dressed in a fitted black dress, shatter the glass upon impact.

She then falls straight to the floor and lands on her back before quickly getting back onto her feet.
After struggling to get back up, she then attempts to exit via the revolving doors but seconds later gives up.
She makes her escape through another door with the assistance of a man.
The incident happened on September 21 - according to the date on the footage - but is making the rounds on the internet after being widely shared on social media over the weekend.

The video has since been viewed and shared hundreds of thousands of times online and on social media.
General Manager of Baywest Mall, Sonja de Necker, told The Herald that the woman seen in the video was allegedly involved in a shoplifting incident, which took place at a store called Red Square.
According to The Herald, it is not known whether the woman sustained any injuries. The paper also reports that no arrests have been made.
