Arachnophobes, look away now! Horrifying video shows spider being flushed out of man's ear after it crawled inside whilst he was sleeping

If you have a fear of spiders, you may want to look away now.

This is the horrifying moment an arachnid has to be removed from a man's ear after it crawled into the confined space whilst he was asleep.

The man called on his friend to help get rid of the spider and the pal in question had a handy trick up their sleeve.

Using some ear drops, they slowly dripped the solution into the man's ear - whilst filming the whole thing.

A few seconds passes and nothing appears to happen.  

Suddenly, the large spider slowly crawls from the man's aural canal and scurries towards his hair.

The bug seemingly isn't too keen on completely abandoning his newfound home and rather than making a swift exit, perches on the top of the man's ear.

The man's friend continues to drip liquid onto the ear, which eventually causes the spider to leave for good. 

This video comes just weeks after one woman had the fright of her life when the persistent scratching noise from inside her ear canal turned out to be from a spider.

The woman, named by her surname Li, arrived at a hospital in Xiamen, south west China, after experiencing intense pain in one of her ears, reported People's Daily Online.

The bug seemingly isn't too keen on completely abandoning his newfound home

She was told by the doctors that a spider had set up home in her ear canal. Even more spine-chillingly, it had started to weave an intricate web there.

Earlier this month, a woman in Yangzhou, eastern China, had a centipede extracted from her ear.

A man from Guangdong, southern China, was even more unfortunate when doctors discovered a cockroach living in his ear and it had given birth to 25 babies.

This meant that a total of 26 cockroaches had to be removed from his ear.
